Across 7 providers that publish a monthly price for managed Reddit marketing, the median is $1,900 a month, and listed prices run from $300 to $8,500 a month. Dedicated Reddit agencies sit higher, with a median entry tier of $2,750 a month (n=4) and most of them asking for a 3-month minimum. Freelancers on Fiverr, Upwork and Contra cost far less (median Fiverr starter gig $45, median hourly rate $16), but those packages usually cover days of work, not a month.

Every number below was read on the provider's own page or marketplace listing on 15 October 2026. Where a provider does not publish a price, it is not in the data.

#Method

I collected public prices from 24 providers: 4 Reddit marketing agencies, 1 Reddit Ads management agency, 3 productized managed services, 2 per-unit comment and post sellers, 5 Fiverr gigs, 2 Contra freelancers, 6 Upwork freelancers and 1 Gumroad listing.

Rules I applied:

  • A price counts only if it appears on the provider's own site, its own published post, or its own marketplace listing. Prices quoted in third-party "best agencies" lists were used only to find providers, never as data.
  • Gigs marked "on hold" were dropped.
  • For monthly comparisons I used each provider's entry tier, because that is the price a first-time buyer sees.
  • Medians use the standard method: the middle value, or the average of the two middle values when n is even.
  • Where a provider states both a monthly price and a monthly volume, I divided one by the other to get an implied cost per comment or post. Those figures are my arithmetic and are labeled as such.

#Summary table by provider type

Provider type n Median Range Billing unit
Dedicated Reddit agencies (organic) 4 $2,750/mo $1,900 to $8,500/mo Monthly retainer, entry tier
Productized managed services 3 $499/mo $300 to $1,000/mo Monthly plan
All managed monthly (two rows above) 7 $1,900/mo $300 to $8,500/mo Monthly
Reddit Ads management agency 1 $3,000/mo n/a Monthly fee, plus $2,500 setup, ad spend extra
Per-unit sellers, per comment 2 n/a $4 to $40 Per comment
Per-unit sellers, per post 2 n/a $8 to $60 Per post
Fiverr starter gigs 5 $45 $25 to $50 Per package (3 to 14 days)
Freelancer hourly rates (Upwork 6, Fiverr 1, Contra 1) 8 $16/hr $6 to $40/hr Hourly

With n=2, a median for per-unit pricing would mislead, so the table shows only the range.

#What is included at each price level

Under $100. Fiverr starter gigs. Marie F. lists 1 post and 3 seeded comments for $30 with 3-day delivery. Abdullah (faraz_222) lists 10 days of management at 1 post and 5 comments per day for $45, using your own account. Suma lists a $50 "warm-up" package over 14 days covering subreddit research, account warm-up and reporting. LaunchPedia on Gumroad sells a one-time $99 Reddit launch kit: a subreddit list plus posts written for Reddit.

$300 to $1,000 a month. Productized services. Airefs lists a fully managed plan at $300 a month, and its own blog says its team comments from its own accounts. MediaFast lists one-account done-for-you management at $499 a month, covering posting, commenting and ghostwriting. CommunityMentions lists $1,000 a month for 100 to 300 comments from a mix of AI and human posters. Implied cost: $3.33 to $10 per comment.

$1,900 to $3,000 a month. Specialist agencies. OutreachBloom lists $1,900 a month, month to month, for 50 logged engagements, keyword research, daily thread discovery with client review of every draft, a branded account set up through Reddit Pro, and a monthly report. Implied cost: $38 per engagement. Just Reddit Agency starts at $2,500 a month with a 3-month minimum for 35 to 100 brand mentions and monthly reports. Implied cost: $25 to $71 per mention. GrowReddit's Growth plan is $2,999 a month (3-month minimum) for 20 posts, 20 comments, community monitoring and monthly reporting. Implied cost: $75 per item.

$5,000 and up. GrowReddit Scale is $4,999 a month for 50 posts and 50 comments. Just Reddit Agency lists subreddit launch work from $5,000 a month and reputation management from $4,500 a month. Discovered Labs bundles Reddit into AI search retainers at €7,995 a month (about $8,500 by its own conversion), alongside up to 20 articles a month, and €12,995 for its Compete tier.

Per unit. ReplyAgent lists $4 per comment and $8 per post plus a $79 monthly subscription, with a 70% refund if moderators remove the item. Loganix lists $40 per comment (minimum 10) and $60 per post, plus one-time bundles at $400, $900 and $1,800.

The pattern is clear. Below $1,000 a month you are buying volume. Between $1,900 and $3,000 you start paying for subreddit research, client approval of drafts and reporting. Few providers at any price write from the founder's own account.

#Organic agency vs Reddit Ads

These are two different purchases, and many buyers mix them up.

An organic provider writes posts and comments inside communities. You pay a retainer, and the output is threads and mentions.

Reddit Ads is paid placement. You pay Reddit for media, and an agency fee on top if you hire one. Upgrow, the one ads agency in this sample with a public rate card, lists $2,500 setup and $3,000 a month, or 12% of ad spend, whichever is higher.

On media costs, Reddit's self-serve platform is widely reported to have a $5 daily minimum budget (WordStream, July 2025; Agorapulse, April 2024; Omneky, August 2026). Agorapulse adds that Reddit warns actual daily spend can run up to 20% above the set budget. Reported ranges vary: Omneky puts CPM at $0.50 to $10 and CPC at $0.20 to $3.00, and WordStream reports CPMs from $0.50 to $15. PPC Land reported in December 2023 that the minimum CPC bid was $0.10 and the minimum CPM bid was $3.50. All of these are third-party reports, so confirm current minimums inside Reddit Ads Manager before you budget.

The practical rule: ads buy reach for as long as you pay, and organic work builds threads that can keep ranking after the work stops. If your budget covers only one, start organic, because a $5-a-day ads test produces too few clicks to judge a B2B offer.

#Red flags: account farms and upvote buying

Reddit's Content Policy Rule 2 reads: "Abide by community rules. Post authentic content into communities where you have a personal interest, and do not cheat or engage in content manipulation (including spamming, vote manipulation, ban evasion, or subscriber fraud) or otherwise interfere with or disrupt Reddit communities." Reddit's User Agreement adds: "You will not license, sell, or transfer your Account without our prior written approval."

Several providers in this sample sell exactly what those rules prohibit, or something close to it:

  • Upvotes for sale. Loganix lists Reddit upvotes at $4 each and downvotes at $4 each, and its $1,800 Enterprise bundle includes 100 upvotes.
  • Aged account pools. Loganix states its accounts have at least 2,000 karma and are at least 2 years old. ReplyAgent posts from "a pool of aged Reddit accounts." Just Reddit Agency cites "800+ aged Reddit accounts." Discovered Labs describes "aged, high-karma accounts." A Contra freelancer lists "posting through aged, active accounts" in a $500 package.

If an agency posts from accounts it bought or farmed, those accounts are not yours, they break the User Agreement, and any brand mention they carry can disappear in a ban wave. There is a legal angle in the US too. The FTC's final rule on fake reviews, announced 14 August 2024, prohibits buying or selling fake indicators of social media influence and bars insider testimonials that fail to clearly disclose the connection.

Disclosure on Reddit itself is simple. Reddit now offers a Brand Affiliate tag that users can apply to posts or comments with commercial intent, as reported by Lindsey Gamble. The cleaner model is to post from the founder's own account, say who you are, and let the answer carry the brand.

Questions to ask any provider before you sign:

  1. Whose account will post?
  2. Do you buy, rent or farm accounts?
  3. Do you sell or arrange upvotes?
  4. Can I approve every draft before it goes live?
  5. What happens to the threads and accounts when we stop?

#How to budget

Pick the budget by the job you need done.

  • Test whether Reddit works for your category: $0 to $300. Do it yourself, or buy a Fiverr starter package or a one-time kit for subreddit research. Fiverr starter gigs have a median price of $45.
  • Steady presence from your own account: about $300 to $500 a month for a freelancer. At the $16 median hourly rate, 20 hours a month comes to $320. That is my arithmetic, not a quote.
  • Managed program with research, approvals and reporting: $1,900 to $3,000 a month, usually with a 3-month minimum. Budget $5,700 to $9,000 for the first quarter.
  • Reddit as part of an AI search program: about $8,500 to $13,900 a month at Discovered Labs, the one agency in this sample that bundles it with content.
  • Paid ads: agency fee plus media. In this sample, $3,000 a month plus setup, with media on top.

Budget for three months before you judge the results. Threads take weeks to rank, and a single month of activity tells you very little.

#Methodology

  • Window: all pages read on 15 October 2026.
  • Inclusion: a provider had to show a price on its own page, its own post, or its own marketplace listing. Agencies that publish only "custom" pricing (for example Single Grain, Foundation, Taktical Digital, Soar, Growthner, Quimby Digital and The Reddit Marketing Agency) were excluded.
  • Exclusions: two Fiverr gigs marked "on hold" ($60 and $500). One agency site whose service copy and prices were identical to Just Reddit Agency's (Community Mentions Agency) was treated as a duplicate. Providers whose prices I saw only in third-party lists (for example SaaSy Links, redditagency.com, Growth Marketing Pro, Ranqer, Redvocate and Startories) were excluded because I could not open their own pages. Software tools (GummySearch, Casixty, Kwatch) and pure upvote sellers were excluded.
  • Monthly medians use entry tiers. Discovered Labs is counted at its own stated USD conversion of about $8,500.
  • Hourly median combines 6 Upwork rates, 1 Fiverr hourly rate and 1 Contra rate.
  • Implied per-item costs are monthly price divided by stated monthly volume and are my calculation.
  • Limits: listed prices are starting points, not negotiated contracts. Marketplace samples reflect what the platform showed on the day. Reddit Ads figures come from third-party reports, not Reddit's own documentation.

Quick questions

How much does a Reddit marketing agency cost per month in 2026?

Across 7 providers that publish a monthly managed price, the median is $1,900 a month and the range is $300 to $8,500. Dedicated agencies have a median entry price of $2,750 a month (n=4).

How much does a single Reddit comment or post cost from a provider?

Only two providers in this sample list per-unit prices. ReplyAgent lists $4 per comment and $8 per post, plus a $79 monthly subscription. Loganix lists $40 per comment and $60 per post.

Are Reddit freelancers cheaper than agencies?

Yes. The median listed hourly rate across 8 freelancers on Upwork, Fiverr and Contra is $16, and the median Fiverr starter gig is $45 (n=5). Most Fiverr packages cover 3 to 14 days, not a month.

Is it against Reddit's rules to buy upvotes or aged accounts?
