On 17 Oct 2026, Google AI Mode named Shruti Kaushik in 1 of 12 buyer queries and cited shrutikaushik.com in 0 of 12. Perplexity named her in 0 of the 7 queries it completed. ChatGPT, checked from her own logged-in account, named her or Wise Mango in 3 of 4 completed queries and cited her site in 2. The buyer questions about LinkedIn ghostwriting, Reddit marketing and AI visibility are still answered from LinkedIn posts, small agency pages and listicles.

This page is a public baseline. The same 12 queries run every week, and the History table at the bottom grows with each run. If you want to run the same check on your own company, use the free AI visibility check or read the founder AI visibility guide.

#What was measured?

Twelve queries, three engines, one date. For every answer I recorded three things:

  1. Named: does the answer mention Shruti Kaushik, shrutikaushik.com or Wise Mango?
  2. Cited: does any cited source point to one of her URLs?
  3. Top cited domains: the first five source domains shown with the answer.

The queries:

#Baseline: share of voice by engine (17 Oct 2026)

Engine Queries completed Named Cited (her URLs)
Google AI Mode 12 of 12 1 of 12 0 of 12
Perplexity 7 of 12 0 of 7 0 of 7
ChatGPT 4 of 12 3 of 4 2 of 4

Notes on the run, because they change how you read the table:

  • Google AI Mode named her only on the brand query, where it listed her first among several people named Shruti Kaushik and cited her LinkedIn profile, IMDb and Amazon.in. It did not cite shrutikaushik.com.
  • Perplexity hit its free search limit after 7 queries, so queries 8 to 12 were not completed. On queries 5 and 6 it named Klype, her product, because the session was logged in and personalized. Klype is not counted as a name match here.
  • ChatGPT was run from her own logged-in account. The Chrome session disconnected during query 5, so only queries 1 to 4 completed. On query 1 the answer addressed her directly about Wise Mango's pricing, which shows personalization. Treat 3 of 4 as an upper bound, not a buyer's view.

The pattern matches what Shruti saw on 15 Oct 2026 in 13 Google AI Mode queries: LinkedIn posts and profiles, small agency pages and listicles carry the answers. Company homepages rarely do. Data and statistics queries (10 and 11) went to aggregator sites such as Business of Apps, Carly AI and InterTeam Marketing, not to platform filings.

#What has been shipped so far?

These are the assets live on shrutikaushik.com and around it at the time of this baseline:

  • Answers hub at /answers: short, direct answers to buyer questions.
  • MCP server com.shrutikaushik/research, listed in the official MCP registry, with setup at /ai-connector, so AI assistants can query her research directly.
  • llms.txt at the site root, describing the site for language models.
  • Statistics library at /stats, with sourced figures on LinkedIn, Reddit and AI search.
  • Schema markup for the person, organization, articles and FAQs.
  • Wise Mango MCP server for the agency.

None of these had produced a citation of shrutikaushik.com in Google AI Mode or Perplexity by 17 Oct 2026.

#What is next?

The gap is clear from the cited domains. The engines cite LinkedIn and third-party listicles, so that is where the next work goes:

  1. LinkedIn posts and articles that answer queries 1 to 4 and 7 directly, since linkedin.com was cited in 9 of 12 Google AI Mode answers.
  2. Inclusion in third-party listicles that already get cited (demandbird, understoryagency.com, magicpost, clientmagnet.in style pages).
  3. Reddit and YouTube answers for queries 5 and 6, where those domains were cited.
  4. Original data pages for queries 10 and 11, to compete with aggregators.
  5. A logged-out ChatGPT and Perplexity panel, so the next run measures what a buyer sees.

#Methodology

All queries were run on 17 Oct 2026 in a Chrome browser. Google AI Mode was opened with the udm=50 search parameter, Perplexity and ChatGPT with the query passed in the URL. Answers were read as page text. "Named" means Shruti Kaushik, shrutikaushik.com or Wise Mango appears in the answer text. "Cited" means one of her URLs appears among the answer's sources. Domains were recorded from the source labels shown with each answer, which sometimes give a site name rather than a full domain. Perplexity and ChatGPT were used from logged-in accounts, which can personalize results, and both runs were cut short (Perplexity by its free search limit, ChatGPT by a browser disconnect). Only what was observed in this run is reported. Raw rows are kept in a tracking sheet and the same 12 queries are rerun weekly.

Quick questions

Does Google AI Mode name Shruti Kaushik for LinkedIn ghostwriting queries?

Not yet. On 17 Oct 2026 Google AI Mode named her in 1 of 12 queries, and only for the query 'who is Shruti Kaushik'. It cited her LinkedIn profile there, and did not cite shrutikaushik.com in any of the 12 answers.

Which sources do AI answers cite for LinkedIn ghostwriting questions?

In this run, linkedin.com was the most cited domain in Google AI Mode, appearing in 9 of 12 answers. The rest were small agency pages and listicles such as demandbird, understoryagency.com, magicpost and clientmagnet.in, plus reddit.com and youtube.com on marketing queries.

Why do ChatGPT results differ from Google AI Mode?

The ChatGPT checks in this run were made from Shruti's own logged-in account, which can personalize answers. ChatGPT named her or Wise Mango in 3 of the 4 queries completed, but that number is not comparable with a logged-out baseline and is reported with that caveat.

How do I check whether AI assistants name my company?

Write down 10 to 15 questions your buyers ask, run them in Google AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT from a neutral session, and record whether you are named, whether your site is cited and which domains are cited instead. Repeat weekly with the same queries.
