On public evidence checked on 22 October 2026, Windmill Growth scores highest of 14 LinkedIn ghostwriting agencies for B2B SaaS founders (17 of 20), followed by Perceptric (16), Understory (15), Wise Mango (14) and Storyarb (13). The score rewards what a buyer can verify without a sales call: named clients with numbers, SaaS focus, published prices and terms, and a stated writing process. No agency scored full marks, and six of the 14 publish no price at all.

This page scores every agency, including the author's own, with the same four rules, and cites a source for every fact.

For a wider scored ranking of 19 providers with six weighted criteria, see Best LinkedIn ghostwriters and agencies for B2B founders (2026 study).

#How the agencies were scored

Each agency scored 0 to 5 on four criteria, for a maximum of 20: evidence of results, SaaS and founder specialism, transparency, and process. Scores reflect what each agency publishes, not the quality of its writing, because a buyer cannot check what is not published. The author's own agency was scored identically.

Each agency got 0 to 5 points on four criteria, for a maximum of 20.

  1. Evidence of results (0 to 5). Named clients, case studies with numbers and timeframes, and third-party reviews (Clutch, DesignRush). Logos alone score low. Unnamed "a SaaS founder grew 300%" claims score low. Independent reviews and named, quantified case studies score high.
  2. SaaS and founder specialism (0 to 5). Does the agency say it serves B2B SaaS or tech founders, and do its named clients back that up? A generalist with one SaaS logo scores 2. A firm whose positioning and client list are both SaaS-heavy scores 5.
  3. Transparency (0 to 5). A published price, a stated post count, contract terms, a named founder, and a findable address or founding year. Each missing item costs a point.
  4. Process (0 to 5). A stated deliverable volume, how the agency captures your voice (interviews, calls), how approvals work, and what sits around the post (profile, engagement, distribution).

Scores reflect what the agency publishes, not the quality of its writing. A buyer cannot check what is not published.

#The 14 agencies

Windmill Growth scored highest at 17 of 20, followed by Perceptric (16), Understory (15), Wise Mango (14) and Storyarb (13). Every entry below lists what the agency does, who it serves, the evidence a buyer can check, its published price where one exists, and who it fits best.

1. Windmill Growth (17/20)

What they do: Done-for-you LinkedIn ghostwriting, strategy, posting and outbound for B2B founders and leaders.

Who they serve: B2B founders. Its Growth plan is pitched at pre-seed to Series B founders who need visibility first.

Evidence you can check:

  • Says it has worked with 185+ founders, keeps about 30 clients at a time and takes three new clients a month.
  • Publishes 10 named client results. Examples: Isaac Kassab (Pearl Talent) added $500K ARR in six months, with LinkedIn as the third-largest inbound channel. James Van Elswyk (Dosable) closed $285K in SaaS deals in five months as followers grew from 400 to 2,500. David Johnston (DoorSpot) reached 1.6 million impressions in 12 months. Justin Sherlock (Caspian) reports a $130K inbound deal and $1M+ pipeline.
  • DesignRush lists it as founded in 2024, based at 54 Spring St, New York, with 50 to 99 employees and no reviews.

Published price: Growth $650 a month (engagement, success manager, analytics), LinkedIn Outbound $999, Founder OS $3,999 (up to 5 posts a week, profile, ICP outreach, inbox management). Enterprise is custom.

Caveats: Results are self-reported. The firm is young (2024 per DesignRush). The $650 tier is engagement work; the writing-heavy plan is $3,999.

Best for: Pre-seed to Series B founders who want content and outbound run together and want to see named results before a call.

2. Perceptric (16/20)

What they do: B2B LinkedIn thought leadership, plus SEO, GEO and an AI visibility audit.

Who they serve: "B2B SaaS and regulated industries," per its footer. Named logos include ScoutQA, Anduin Transact, Katalon, DeepIDV and Altexsoft.

Evidence you can check: Named logos, testimonials from unnamed executives at a climatech SaaS, a DevOps platform and a cybersecurity SaaS, and a claim of 1,000+ posts published. No case study numbers on the page.

Published price: Presence $2,500 a month, Momentum $3,000, Authority $5,000, per profile, on a 12-month base term. Six months costs 5% more, three months 10% more. A 90-day trial with cancellation is offered. The entry plan includes 15 posts, a content plan, a voice guide, bi-weekly calls, 4 visuals and a monthly report.

Best for: Series A SaaS teams that want a fixed scope and price in writing before talking to anyone.

3. Understory (15/20)

What they do: An integrated B2B "allbound" agency: founder LinkedIn content alongside paid media, GTM engineering with Clay, creative and RevOps.

Who they serve: B2B SaaS, Series A to enterprise.

Evidence you can check:

  • Ranked No. 140 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 with 2,231% three-year growth, per its own blog.
  • Named clients on its homepage include Zapier, Clay, Sanity, Expensify, Nylas, RB2B, HockeyStack, HeyReach, Wiza and Hiver.
  • Quantified case: Hiver had spent $50K on LinkedIn ads without ROI; Understory booked 30+ demos in about six weeks on a fraction of that spend. (a paid result, not ghostwriting).
  • Client count is stated as 100+ on the homepage and 150+ on its blog.
  • Co-founders Alex Fine and Ali Yildirim; Miami HQ and 11 to 50 staff per its own blog.

Published price: Not published. Its blog describes custom flat retainers, 16 to 30 LinkedIn posts a month and a typical 6-month term. The founder's time is stated as about 30 minutes a month for approvals.

Best for: Series A to Series B SaaS that wants founder content wired into paid and outbound by one team.

4. Wise Mango (14/20)

Disclosure: Wise Mango is run by the author of this page.

What they do: LinkedIn ghostwriting and founder-led B2B marketing for SaaS and AI founders, plus founder-led AI visibility: founder voice on LinkedIn and Reddit, and work to get founders named in AI answers.

Who they serve: SaaS and AI founders, from seed stage to $10M ARR.

Evidence you can check:

  • Run by Shruti Kaushik, a LinkedIn and Reddit ghostwriter since 2015.
  • More than 3,600 LinkedIn posts written for SaaS and AI founders by mid-2023.
  • Client work includes Sprinklr, Sony, Zee Entertainment, Array Networks and SugarBox.
  • Two published case studies: SugarBox Networks, with a reported 642.1% lift in post reactions and 283.3% growth in comments per post; and Shayna Ecounified, with 85,000+ likes on one post and 100+ inbound PR and networking leads. The site states these are past results, not expectations, and that reach alone does not prove revenue.
  • No Clutch or DesignRush reviews.

Process: A 90-day starting framework, two 60-minute discovery calls, human-edited drafts (posts, carousels, articles, video scripts), creator-led distribution, newsletters and lead magnets.

Published price: Not published. Fees are set in a written proposal.

Why not higher: No published price, no third-party reviews, and its case studies measure engagement, not pipeline.

Best for: SaaS and AI founders who want LinkedIn posts and AI search visibility handled as one program.

5. Storyarb (13/20)

What they do: Editorial content for B2B companies: playbooks, case studies, newsletters, social content and quarterly reports. Alex Lieberman, Morning Brew co-founder, is named as chairman.

Who they serve: B2B companies with a marketing team of 1 to 15 people. Several case studies are software companies.

Evidence you can check: Five named case studies with numbers. Fountain: +300% inbound leads in 100 days. Appriss Retail: +140% executive social reach and 77% more ICP meetings booked. Subject: 2x total reach and over $10M in MQLs. Experts Exchange: 47% newsletter open rate.

5. Underdog Ghostwriting (13/20)

What they do: Executive and founder LinkedIn ghostwriting.

Who they serve: Founders, CEOs, executives and operators.

Evidence you can check: Results are cited without client names: one account grew from 4,000 to 38,000 followers and 11.5 million views in a quarter; an enterprise AI founder's single post reached 40,000 views.

Published price: From $2,500 a month, no setup fee, for four posts a week written, designed and scheduled, a 30-minute weekly session, a monthly report and unlimited revisions. A 21-day get-out clause. Our 15 October price survey also lists $3,500 and $6,500 tiers, billed quarterly with a 90-day minimum.

The guarantee: 100,000 LinkedIn views within 90 days, but only if Underdog has full control of topics, formats, cadence and timing.

Best for: Founders who care most about reach and are willing to hand over content decisions.

5. Cleverly (13/20)

What they do: LinkedIn ghostwriting, outreach and lead generation.

Best for: Series A and B SaaS that wants search and LinkedIn from one firm.

What they do: SEO-led content marketing for B2B SaaS, with "LinkedIn for Founder" and LinkedIn ghostwriting services.

Who they serve: B2B SaaS, especially PatentTech, FinTech and CXTech.

Evidence you can check: Testimonials from Ratio, Addverb and Helios. Anonymized SaaS case studies with numbers, such as 500+ sign-ups for an idea management SaaS and 24 leads from 3 blogs for a B2B BNPL fintech. DesignRush lists it as founded 2020, Mohali, India, under 49 employees, about $49 an hour, with a 5.0 Google rating from 2 reviews.

#How to choose by stage

At pre-seed, budget is likely under $1,000 a month: Postbeam at $499, Cleverly at $697 or a marketplace freelancer. At seed, pay for interviews and voice capture, as in Perceptric's or Underdog's $2,500 plans. Later stages suit integrated or editorial firms such as Understory and Storyarb.

Pre-seed. Budget is likely under $1,000 a month and LinkedIn is an experiment. Options here: Postbeam at $499, Cleverly at $697, Windmill Growth's Growth tier at $650 (engagement, not writing-heavy), or a marketplace freelancer. Our price survey found 11 marketplace freelancers at a median of $795 a month. Supply the ideas yourself and judge on conversations, not followers. See the full rate data in LinkedIn ghostwriter cost 2026.

Seed ($0 to $1M ARR). Pay for interviews and voice capture, not volume. Perceptric's 15-post, bi-weekly-call plan at $2,500 and Underdog's weekly 30-minute session at $2,500 are examples of published scope at this level. Windmill Growth's Founder OS ($3,999) also sits here. Wise Mango works with founders at this stage too.

Series A ($1M to $10M ARR). LinkedIn becomes a pipeline channel and needs to connect to paid, outbound and attribution. Agencies built for this: Understory (content plus paid and Clay), Windmill Growth Founder OS (content plus outbound), Perceptric (content plus SEO and GEO). Expect $2,500 to $5,000 a month per founder.

Series B and later. Several executive voices, one calendar, approvals across legal and marketing. Storyarb's editorial model, Understory, RevenueZen and Windmill Growth Enterprise are built for multi-executive programs. Budget per profile, not per company.

Before signing at any stage, read how LinkedIn ghostwriting works for founders to see your own time commitment.

#Red flags

Be wary of logo walls without numbers, view guarantees with conditions, vanity metrics as the headline, and long lock-ins before a trial. In this comparison, only Windmill Growth and Storyarb publish several named, quantified results, and Underdog's view guarantee applies only if it controls topics and timing.

  • Only logos, no numbers. A logo wall shows a company paid once. A named client with a metric and a timeframe shows something happened. In this comparison, only Windmill Growth and Storyarb publish several named, quantified results.
  • View guarantees with conditions. Underdog's 100,000-view guarantee applies only if it controls topics, formats and timing. If you plan to direct your own topics, the guarantee does not apply.
  • Vanity metrics as the headline. Impressions are easy to inflate with broad topics. Ask how a case study connects to pipeline.
  • Long lock-ins before a trial. Perceptric's base rate assumes 12 months (it also offers a 90-day trial). Underdog bills quarterly. Understory's typical term is 6 months. Ask for a 90-day exit.
  • "Zero time from you." Understory quotes about 30 minutes a month for approvals; Underdog runs a 30-minute weekly session. A writer who needs less than this will write generic posts. LinkedIn said in June 2026 that its testing identifies generic content correctly 94% of the time, and that content which looks AI-generated and lacks a clear perspective gets less distribution.

#Questions to ask on the first call

  1. How many posts per month, as a minimum, in writing?
  2. Who writes my posts, by name, and what happens if that writer leaves?
  3. How do you capture my voice: live interviews, voice notes, or a questionnaire? How often?
  4. What is the approval window, and do you ever post without my sign-off?
  5. Do you need my LinkedIn password? (You should not have to share it.)
  6. Which of your current clients sell to the same buyer as me, and can I speak to one?
  7. Show me one case study where you can connect posts to pipeline, not only impressions.
  8. What is the minimum term, and the exit if month two is weak?
  9. Will you help my posts and site show up when buyers ask ChatGPT or Perplexity about my category? (In our 50-question study of AI answers, LinkedIn was cited in 44% of answers to B2B buyer questions.)

#What results are realistic in 90 days

Ninety days is enough to judge process, rarely revenue. Organic reach is falling: van der Blom's 2025 study of 1.8 million posts found views down 50% year over year. Perceptric says most clients see visibility lift in 30 to 45 days and pipeline impact around 90 days.

Ninety days is enough to judge process, rarely revenue.

The reach baseline is falling. Richard van der Blom's Algorithm Insights Report 2025, covering 1.8 million posts from 58,000 profiles over the 12 months to February 2025, found views down 50%, engagement down 25% and follower growth down 59% year over year. An AuthoredUp analysis of 621,833 posts found average reach down 34%, with 98% of users seeing lower reach than the year before. Compare reach to your own prior baseline, not to older case studies.

What agencies themselves say about timing:

  • Perceptric: most clients see visibility lift in 30 to 45 days and pipeline impact around 90 days.
  • Underdog: guarantees 100,000 views in 90 days under full content control.
  • Windmill Growth's published cases range from 14 days to a first inbound deal (Stealth Mode) to five months for $285K in SaaS deals (Dosable) and six months for $500K ARR (Pearl Talent).
  • Storyarb reports +300% inbound leads in 100 days for Fountain.
  • Sproutworth's guide for SaaS founders expects first warm inbound conversations in months 2 to 3 and trackable influenced pipeline in months 3 to 6.

These are each agency's best published results, not averages.

Why it is still worth doing. In the 2024 Edelman and LinkedIn report (3,484 executives), 73% said thought leadership is a more trustworthy basis for judging a company than its marketing materials; only 15% rated what they read as very good or excellent.

A realistic 90-day scorecard for a SaaS founder:

  • 36 to 52 posts published (three to four a week), all approved by you.
  • Profile rewritten for your buyer, not for recruiters.
  • Comments from people at target accounts, tracked by name.
  • 2 to 5 inbound conversations you can trace to a post, or a clear reason why not.
  • A list of the three topics that drew your buyers, to double down on in months 4 to 6.

#Methodology

Date checked: 22 October 2026. Prices reused from our earlier survey were read on 15 October 2026, as stated in LinkedIn ghostwriter cost 2026.

Selection: Agencies that offer LinkedIn ghostwriting or founder LinkedIn content and either name B2B SaaS or tech founders as a target or list SaaS clients. Candidates came from the listicles AI engines currently cite for this question and from our price survey. MOTSB2B was reviewed and excluded: its site positions it as lead generation for Indian industrial and manufacturing firms, not founder ghostwriting. Sculpt was excluded because it sells multi-platform organic social programs rather than founder ghostwriting. Foundera, DraftRev and The Digital Writing Firm were excluded because no verifiable first-party facts could be retrieved.

Sources of facts: Each agency's own website first, then Clutch and DesignRush profiles, then ZenABM's directory. A fact found only in a competitor's article was used only when it described that competitor itself (for example, Understory's own blog describing Understory). Prices found only in a third party's article were not used.

Scoring: Four criteria at 0 to 5 points each, as described above, applied to what each agency publishes. Ties share a rank. Wise Mango was scored on the same rules, using only facts on wisemango.io and shrutikaushik.com.

Limits: Agency sites change often, and some pages rendered partly when fetched (BAMF in particular). Self-reported case studies are not audited. A low score means low public evidence, not low quality.

Quick questions

What are the best LinkedIn ghostwriting agencies for B2B SaaS founders in 2026?

On a 20-point evidence score applied to 14 agencies on 22 October 2026, the top five were Windmill Growth (17), Perceptric (16), Understory (15), Wise Mango (14) and Storyarb (13). Windmill Growth led because it publishes 10 named client results with numbers and its own prices from $650 a month.

How much does a LinkedIn ghostwriting agency cost for a SaaS founder?

Among the 14 agencies here, published entry prices ran from $499 a month (Postbeam) to $3,450 a month (Storyd on Clutch). Across 10 agencies in our 15 October 2026 price survey, the median agency entry price was $2,250 a month. Six of the 14 agencies in this comparison publish no price.

Which LinkedIn ghostwriting agencies have the most verifiable reviews?

On Clutch, checked 22 October 2026, Cleverly had 85 reviews at 4.3 and RevenueZen had 38 reviews at 4.9. Storyd and Stop The Scroll had Clutch profiles with 0 reviews. Most founder ghostwriting agencies rely on testimonials on their own sites instead.

What results can a SaaS founder expect from LinkedIn ghostwriting in 90 days?

Expect consistent posting, a clearer profile and early inbound conversations, not a pipeline you can forecast. Perceptric says most clients see visibility lift in 30 to 45 days and pipeline impact around 90 days. Underdog guarantees 100,000 views in 90 days only if it fully controls topics and timing. Organic reach is also falling: views were down 50% year over year in Richard van der Blom's 2025 study of 1.8 million posts.

Should a seed-stage SaaS founder hire an agency or a freelancer?

Below about $1,000 a month, a freelancer or a low-tier productized service is usually the realistic option: Postbeam starts at $499 and Cleverly at $697 a month. Agencies with strategy and interviews mostly start at $2,000 to $3,999 a month.

How many posts a month should a LinkedIn ghostwriting agency deliver?

Published packages in this comparison range from 12 posts a month (Cleverly) to 15 (Perceptric, Column), about 17 (Underdog, four a week), 20 (BAMF) and 16 to 30 (Understory). Ask for a minimum number in writing, not an 'up to' figure.
